The first few photos I took in my home by my main source of good lighting. The photos came out ok. The last 2 I took after getting my hair done with my mother. Taking car photos, I have discovered, is an excellent source of natural light if you park in the right spot. For the photo of my mother, I had her roll her window down rather than take her photo with the window up. (She told me I better make her look good since I was all in her space and face lol) I hope this is ok mom! The last two I took in my car after on my way home. I attempted to do a selfie with my mom, but in her small car, the angle I would have to take the photo in left us pretty dark so I didn't bother. There wouldn't have been any brightness from the sunlight.
” Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.” – George Eastman -

week 6 window lighting
This week I honestly did not take many photos. I had a lot going on. I start a new job tomorrow and had to read about the new job over the weekend as a last minute request by the new boss. (She told me she will do Q&A so I spent my weekend memorizing.)

Okay good... you are paying attention to the light on the face and working with it intentionally. The last way to improve portraiture is to use a longer lens, rather than the wide angle that is the default on phone cameras....
