Beach Photos

Decided to visit West Haven beach for this week's photos.  I had a great time attempting to take good pictures with my phone camera. The weather was gloomy and Zoom capabilities aren't the best.  I did some minor edits to the photos. I am seriously considering purchasing a good camera for my new found hobby. Any recommendations?

    Beautiful series, Elmer... they are taken with a sensitive awareness of light and design. You can't go wrong with anything by Canon or Nikon... Sony is excellent also. To expand with the hobby, you will want something with interchangeable lenses and the ability to shoot RAW

    I figured I would increase to ISO400 mode due to gloomy weather conditions to make up for lack of good light condition.
